Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

This policy explains what information Al-Azzar collects and why. The data controller is Arthur Siret, operator of Al-Azzar, based in France. Contact for any privacy question or request: adrian.lev.salazar@gmail.com.

The short version: Al-Azzar has no user accounts and no backend database. Almost everything you enter — your name, birth date, ticket history, preferences — is stored only in your own browser's local storage, on your own device. We never see it. The only things that briefly pass through our server are what's needed to verify your payment and calculate that day's numbers, and none of it is saved afterward.

1. What we collect, and where it lives

DataWhere it's storedWhy
Name, nickname, birth date, aliasYour browser (localStorage) onlyTo calculate your numerology numbers, entirely on your device
Ticket history, theme preference, day-pass statusYour browser (localStorage) onlySo the app remembers your results and settings between visits
Numerology numbers + payment session IDSent to our server momentarily to generate your numbers, not stored after the responseRequired to produce and verify that day's number lines
Payment card detailsNever touches our server — handled entirely by StripeProcessing your payment

2. Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Stripe receives what it needs to process the charge and shares back only a payment confirmation and session ID, which we use to unlock the Service. Stripe's own privacy policy governs its handling of your payment data.

3. Hosting and analytics

The Service is hosted on Vercel. We use Vercel's privacy-friendly Web Analytics to see aggregated page-view counts — it does not use cookies and does not identify you individually.

4. Draw results

To check your saved numbers against real EuroMillions draws, our server fetches public results from a third-party public data source (pedromealha.dev). No personal data is sent as part of that request.

5. Local storage, not cookies

Al-Azzar doesn't use tracking or advertising cookies. It uses your browser's local storage to remember your profile(s) on your own device. You can erase all of it at any time using "Start over / clear my local data" at the bottom of the app — this deletes it instantly and completely, since it was never copied anywhere else.

6. Who we share data with

We don't sell your personal data. We share only what's necessary with Stripe (payments) and Vercel (hosting/analytics), each acting under their own privacy terms as processors on our behalf.

7. International transfers

Stripe and Vercel may process data outside the EU, including in the United States. Both maintain appropriate safeguards for such transfers (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) as required under GDPR.

8. Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or export your personal data, and to object to its processing. Since most of your data never leaves your device, you can exercise deletion yourself instantly via the clear-data link mentioned above. For anything else — including a request relating to data held by Stripe or Vercel on our behalf — contact adrian.lev.salazar@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL (France's data protection authority) or your own country's equivalent supervisory authority.

9. Retention

Local data persists on your device until you clear it or your browser clears it. Payment records are retained by Stripe according to Stripe's own retention obligations.

10. Children

Al-Azzar is not intended for use by anyone under 18.

11. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version always lives at this address, dated above.
